Badges, badges, and badges...

As many of you know, the Great American Beer Festival take place this upcoming weekend, with festivities kicking off on Thursday. For those lucky enough to be in attendance this year, you will be able to unlock our "America's Premier Beerfest (2013)" badge. All you need to do is check-in any beer at or around GABF. This one is available from October 9th through October 12th.

Now, for the rest of us, we're excited to present to you another batch of year round core badges for your unlocking pleasure. These twelve new badges feature a mix of country, location, and style based criteria and should provide you with some fun new challenges.

The new badges include:

• Land of the Free
  Check-in to 5 American made beers
• Suds Samba
  Check-in to 5 different Brazil made beers
• Drink Like a Kiwi
  Check-in to 5 different New Zealand made beers
• The Great White North
  Check-in to 5 different Canada made beers
• The Gondolier
  Check-in to 5 different Italy made beers
• Can in One
  Check-in a beer at 5 different Golf Courses venues (up to Level 10)
• Sky's the Limit
  Check-in to 5 different beers with 10%+ abv
• The Gambler
  Check-in a beer at 5 different Casino venues (up to Level 10)
• Home Brewed Goodness
  Check-in to 2 different beers categorized as home brew
• Photogenic Brew
  Check-in to 5 beers with a photo
• Crisp as Day
  Check-in to 5 different Pilsners (up to Level 10)
• Trip to the Farm
  Check-in to 5 different Saisons (up to Level 10)

Please note that these badges are not retroactive, so you must meet each criteria going forward in order to unlock the corresponding badge.
