Celebrate North Carolina Beer Month

Did you know the state of North Carolina boasts more than 80 breweries statewide? This is just one of the many fun facts you will discover as the inaugural NC Beer Month kicks off April 1. Celebrating all things beer the state has to offer, highlights will include festivals, beer weekend hotel packages, beer tastings and dinners, brewery tours, special beer pricing and an array of limited releases. To celebrate, we've got two new badges for you to unlock exclusively April 1 through April 30.

First up is the NC Beer Month 2013 badge, which celebrates all the great craft beers brewed in North Carolina. This badge can be unlocked by checking in to at least one (1) beer from the North Carolina breweries listed here. It's time to experience the great beers this state has to offer, so get out there and unlock your badge.

The second badge is the NC Beer Month Traveler. This badge can be unlocked by checking in to at least two (2) participating venues throughout the state listed here. With breweries, brewpubs, bars and other beer venues throughout the state from the mountains to the coast, you're sure to find some exciting new places to sample North Carolina brews.
