National Beer Day (2018)

National Beer Day

April 7th marks the day that, in 1933, the Cullen-Harrison Act went into effect, allowing people to buy, sell, and drink beer containing up to 3.2% alcohol by weight (or 4.05% by volume). While not the official end to prohibition, it did redefine an "intoxicating beverage" under the Volstead Act.

Known as National Beer Day, April 7th is a day to raise a toast to our favorite beverage, beer! And while you're enjoying that beer, be sure to unlock this year's badge! Check-in to any beer on April 7th and the "National Beer Day (2018)" badge is all yours!
