Situated at opposite ends of the California Trail, pioneering breweries Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and Boulevard Brewing Co. have once again embarked upon a journey into the unknown with the 2013 release of Terra Incognita. The end result is a, fittingly, earthy beer, celebrating the unique terroir of the two brewery's locations.

These two giants of the brewing world have also come together on Untappd to bring you a special badge. You can unlock the "Join The Journey" badge by checking in to one (1) Terra Incognita between July 1st and July 31st.

At the brewery, you'll join head brewer Steve Dresler (Sierra Nevada) and brewmaster Steven Pauwels (Boulevard) on their journey to discover the perfect blend of batches for the 2014 version, the final planned release of this three-year beer odyssey, which began at SAVOR 2012.

During your two-day visit, you'll receive an inside look at Sierra Nevada's brewing facility and sustainability practices, along with dinner in the Sierra Nevada Taproom and Restaurant. Accommodations and an airfare travel for one are included in the package.
