SuperCritical Ale brewed with Cannabis Terpenes

Lagunitas is closing the gap between cannabis and hops even further. Not only has their founder, Tony Magee, been an outspoken proponent of marijuana, but they've got a long history of weed-related beers (see Censored, Undercover Investigation Shut-Down Ale, and the beer brewed with the actual founders of the "420" term, The Waldos' Special Ale). Now they're going beyond beer.

They've partnered with like-minded neighbors in Sonoma County, Cannacraft's AbsoluteXtracts (family owned, sun-grown Cannabis producer & distributor), to release a pair of innovations that combine beer & cannabis in a whole new way: SuperCritical Ale brewed with Cannabis Terpenes (no THC, sorry) AND SuperCritical Vape Cartridges with Hop Terpenes (these do have THC) using Hop Blends from Lagunitas

Head Brew Monster, Jeremy Marshall, says this new technique "is like giving our brewers a whole new set of colors to paint with". For now SuperCritical Ale is a California-only draft release but we hear it'll be coming around again (from thee left-hand side) in bottles next year.
